At Monday February 10th's Council Meeting, during the Policy, Planning, and Personnel committee report by Council President Skirkanish, he mentioned how the Borough is looking for a new Borough Administrator

The committee discussed interviews for recruitment agencies to help hire a new Administrator. They interviewed 4 recruitment agencies, and will narrow it down to two, and decide which one they will hire.

The recruitment agency would send Manville an interim Administrator for 3 to 4 months to evaluate the needs of Borough Hall. They would also interview the best candidates for Manville, and Council can pick the best one to suit the needs of Manville. It would be either a full or part-time position.

Mayor Onderko commented: "And, did you see my email today about the candidate? I hope you can schedule an interview with that person."

Council President Skirkanish replied: "We will interview, yes. Entertain the motion of the agencies also."

"Explore all options," was said by both Mayor Onderko and Council President Skirkanish.

Update 2/14: It appears the Special Meeting has been cancelled. The meeting agenda has been removed from the Borough of Manville's website.

On Wednesday, February 12th, the Borough's website updated to show that a Special Council Meeting will be held at 5pm on Tuesday February 18th.

This will be to award a contract to "NJ Community Solutions" for an Interim Administrator & Administrator Search Services. It appears that Council will move forward with hiring an agency.
